We are looking for an outstanding Retail Manager responsible for the day-to-day running of a new bakery business model brought to Phuket by Iniala, which is a new, exclusive 6-star Villa Residence on Natai Beach, north of Phuket.
The first outlet will open in August 2014 with the roll out of future stores through Phuket during 2014 and 2015. This cutting edge design bakery and high-end quality product is created by a very highly regarded Catalan baker and Patisserie Chef.
The successful individual’s key goals will be
• to ensure all systems are put in place to deliver product in perfect condition whilst ensuring that store presentation is kept to the high standards we have set ourselves and
• standardizing the service training, delivery training and performance plans.
The Retail Manager will also be responsible for maximizing profit and controlling cost, ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s high standards. Also to handle the human resources of the business but with assistance on hand from the parent company for marketing, logistics, information technology, customer service and finance.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales
• Analyzing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning
• Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
• Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development with assistance from HR support.
• Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
• Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
• Responding to customer complaints and comments
• Organizing special promotions, displays and events
• Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
• Monitoring all outlets daily store to store
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing

Qualification:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail/bakery business preferably with 5-star hotels or high standard Bakery business
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Have great service mentality and good team work
- Attention to details and dedication
- Have driving license and own car
